The Cincinnati Bengals were active Thursday when it comes to personnel.
A little over an hour after the team announced they signed five-time Pro Bowl safety Roy Williams, they announced the acquisition of running back Brian Leonard.
Cincinnati received Leonard from the St. Louis Rams in exchange for defensive tackle Orien Harris.
Leonard, a third year player from Rutgers, was the Rams' second-round draft pick in 2007.
He played in 16 games with seven starts as a rookie, rushing for 303 yards on 86 carries and catching 30 passes for 183 yards.
Leonard played in just two of the Rams' first five games in 2008 due to a shoulder injury.
