Bengals Release Two Punters

Release from the Bengals: The Bengals today made the following moves in releasing two players from the roster:
* Terminated the contract of P Kyle Larson, releasing him to free agency. A sixth-year NFL player for 2009, Larson joined the Bengals as a college free agent in 2004 and held the team’s No. 1 punting job the last five seasons. He has career totals of 379 punts for a gross average of 41.9 yards and a net average of 35.7, with 109 inside-20 kicks and 32 touchbacks.
* Waived P Ryan Plackemeier. A fourth-year NFL player for 2009, Plackemeier played last season for Seattle and Washington, and had been acquired by Cincinnati on waivers from Washington this past Feb. 13.
