Bengals Sign Draft Pick Freddie Brown

Release from the Bengals: The Bengals today signed WR Freddie Brown of Utah, one of the team’s seventh-round selections in the 2009 draft.
Brown (6-4, 213) helped lead Utah to unbeaten (13-0) season in 2007, with team-best totals of 77 catches and 900 yards, and he scored seven TDs. He starred in Utah’s Sugar Bowl win over Alabama, with 12 catches for 125 yards. He played four seasons (2005-08) at Utah, seeing action in 42 games.
Brown is the second Bengals 2009 draft pick to sign, joining CB Morgan Trent of Michigan (sixth round).
