Bengals Sign Five Draft Choices, Nine Of 10 Selections In Camp

The Bengals signed five draft choices Sunday as players reported to training camp at Georgetown (Ky.) College.

Signing four-year contracts were: WR Jerome Simpson of Coastal Carolina (second round), DT Pat Sims of Auburn (third round), WR Andre Caldwell of Florida (third round), OT Anthony Collins of Kansas (fourth round) and S Corey Lynch of Appalachian State (sixth round).

Nine of Cincinnati’s 10 draftees are in camp. Previously signed to four-year contracts were: DT Jason Shirley of Fresno State (fifth round), TE Matt Sherry of Villanova (sixth round), DE Angelo Craig of the University of Cincinnati (seventh round) and WR Mario Urrutia of Louisville (seventh round).

Cincinnati’s only unsigned draftee is first-rounder Keith Rivers of Southern California, a linebacker.
