Rep. Royce Adams won re-election Tuesday to his seat representing the 61st district in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
Adams, a Democrat from Dry Ridge, beat Stephen Wood, a Republican from Williamstown, by 5,018 votes or 59.1 percent to 3,754 or 40.9 percent.
Adams was first elected to the House in 1992.
The 61st district stretches across Grant, Gallatin and Owen counties.
