Fifth Annual Big Shrimpin’ Festival To Be Held At Henton Farm

MIDWAY, Ky. – Come down to the farm pondside for Nat Henton’s annual shrimp harvest 3:30-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at Henton Farm in Woodford County.

Visitors may purchase shrimp to take home – just bring a cooler, $10 a pound. Go to enjoy a Shrimp Boil Supper, prepared by Holly Hill Inn of Midway, with bluegrass music and cash bar with white wine and beer.

No reservations required — just take a drive out U.S. 60 between Versailles and Frankfort, and turn onto Grassy Springs Road (KY 3360).

Take the first left onto the Henton Farm. Watch for signs. Cost is $20, with check or cash only. In case of rain, the event will be at Holly Hill Inn.
