The Thomas More College Theatre Department is once again hosting Theatreworks, summer theater camps for children ages 7 through 15.
Theatreworks is a summer acting and musical theater camp designed to allow children to explore the fun of theatre through pantomime, puppet/mask creations, improvision, movement, script work, games and song and dance. Due to popular demand, Thomas More is hosting two sessions this year. Session I is from June 22-26, and Session II is from July 6-10.
Students can choose from two areas of interest: Fun with Acting or Musical Theatre. The week will close with an extraordinary kids’ performance for family and friends. Each age group will have its own personal camp instructor. The week will close with an extraordinary kids’ performance for family and friends.
Theatreworks provides professional instructors that will share their knowledge of theatre with each Theatreworks camper. The Mother of Mercy Theatre Instructor, Lisa Bodollo, directs the camp with talented instructors from Thomas More College.
