Youth Dance Set For Friday

Students in grades 4 through 8 can get a taste of the prom Friday when the Alexandria Fire Explorer Post 100 and the Alexandria Police Explorers host their monthly youth dance.

The theme for the dance is a “Prom Night” and youth are encouraged to dress up for the event.

The dance be from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will be held at the Alexandria Firehouse Hall at 7951 Alexandria Pike.

Admission is $5 at the door and concessions are available for $1 each at the dance.

Parents should note that since the dance is a “lock-in style dance,” once children are dropped off, the only way they can leave is if a parent/guardian/adult representative comes to the hall door to retrieve them.
