Teenagers now have another reason to spend time online - to prepare for the written test for prospective new drivers.
The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer reports that Kentucky State Police quit providing printed versions of the Kentucky Driver's Manual to the public in a cost-cutting move.

Capt. Tim Lucas with the Driver Testing Branch has asked high school principals to display information about where teens can get the driver's testing material.
Daviess County Circuit Clerk Susan Tierney said her office has been trying to let the public know about the change for several months.
