COVINGTON, Ky. - The Center for Great Neighborhoods is stepping up to help the four families in Covington’s Old Seminary Square neighborhood whose homes were damaged in a fire Tuesday in the 1000 block of Russell Street.

The center has established an account for tax-deductible donations to assist the families with 100 percent of the donations going directly to the families.

Those wishing to contribute should make checks out to the Center for Great Neighborhoods of Covington and write “Russell Street Fire Benevolence Fund” on the check memo line. Donors may choose to have their donations distributed equally among the four families affected by the fire or designate a particular family or address for your donations. Just note that on the check’s memo line or in a note accompanying the donation.

The following designations will help us distribute your funds according to your wishes:

Distribute equally – 1018-1024 Russell
Ms. Emma Perry – 1018 Russell
Robert and Lelia Burns – 1020 Russell
Beth Johnson – 1022 Russell
Jason & Jenny Siebert – 1024 Russell

Donations for CGN’s Russell Street Benevolence Fund will be accepted until Dec. 1.
