LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky (IIAK), the state’s leading insurance trade association, has appointed Diane M. Booth, CPCU, CIC of Fort Mitchell, to its board of directors. 

She was appointed during the association’s 113th Annual Convention on Nov. 12 in Louisville.

Booth is the vice president of Chas. H. Bilz Insurance in Fort Mitchell. She has been with the agency since 1994. A graduate of Northern Kentucky University, Booth began her insurance career in 1978.

An active member of the insurance industry, Booth holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), as well as the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) designations. 

She is the Regional Claims Chair for the Safeco Agent Advisory Council and is a member of the Ohio Casualty Agent Advisory Council.  Booth is a two time president for the Northern Kentucky Association of Insurance Women and in 2009 she was awarded Traveler’s High Achiever award.

In her community, Booth is a director of the Redwood Promise and Potential, an organization which provides programs for children and adults with multiple and severe disabilities.

Booth is married to Richard Booth, a tax accountant at Kroger Co.  She has a son, Joshua Zembrodt, who is married to Lisa (nee Costanza), and a deceased daughter, Ashlei Zembrodt, from a previous marriage.
