The opening night curtain goes up at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 11 for the debut of the Fort Thomas Independent Schools’ new adult community theater program in the newly renovated Highlands High School Performing Arts Center at
2400 Memorial Parkway in Fort Thomas.
Additional performances of the show, based on the Adam Sandler film of the same name, will follow on:
Friday, June 12 at 8 p.m.
Saturday, June 13 at 8 p.m.
Sunday, June 14 at 2 p.m.
Monday, June 15 at 8 p.m.
“The Wedding Singer” played Broadway in 2006. It is set in 1985 where rock-star wannabe Robbie Heart is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. With a score that pays loving homage to the pop songs of the 1980’s, The Wedding Singer takes us back to a time when hair was big, greed was good, collars were up and a wedding singer might just be the coolest guy in the room.
Tickets for the show are $10, with opening night tickets selling two for one. For reserved seating, purchase tickets in advance at
https://www.showtix4u.com/. There's no service charge. Any remaining unreserved tickets may be purchased at the door one hour prior to each show.
