Mongiardo Announces Investments In Gallatin Co.

Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo will join state and local officials in Warsaw, Ky., on Thursday, to announce funding for community investments in Gallatin County.

The event will be held at 12:15 p.m., at the Gallatin County Courthouse, 200 Washington St., in Warsaw.

Mongiardo will present funding for community investments including:

a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant for the construction of a new health department to the Gallatin County Fiscal Court;

a $500,000 Kentucky Infrastructure Authority grant for a sewer line extension project to the City of Warsaw;

and a $163,000 Safe Routes to School grant, funded by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, to the Gallatin County Board of Education for a sidewalk and bike path project.
