NKU to Host World AIDS Day Events Dec. 1

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. The Northern Kentucky University Office of African American Student Affairs will present World Aids Day 2009 events on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at noon in Student Union Room 107A.

The day’s events are free and open to the public. The day will begin with free HIV testing from 10 a.m. to noon in Student Union Room 301. At noon, Amy McMahon, MSW, CEO of STOP AIDS, will present a keynote address.

From 2-4 p.m., additional free HIV testing will be available in Student Union Room 323.

NKU’s World Aids Day 2009 is co-sponsored by the university’s Office of Health, Counseling and Prevention Services; College of Health Professions; the Northern Kentucky Health Department; and STOP AIDS.
