Rep. Geoff Davis launched a new official Web site, geoffdavis.house.gov, June 15, which includes news and information about Davis’ work in the House of Representatives where he represents Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District.

“This Web site is designed to be a one-stop shop for residents of the 4th District,” Davis, R-Hebron, said. “The new Web site provides Kentuckians with a significantly enhanced resource to learn more about what is happening in Washington and how my office can assist them with a variety of issues with the federal government. In addition, if offers new ways to share your feedback with me. I hope you will take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the improved Web site for Kentucky’s 4th District.”

From learning Davis’ position on major issues to watching videos of him in action on the House floor, visitors to the Web site can get more in touch with Davis’ legislative work.

Similarly to other elected officials’ Web sites within Kentucky, such as Gov. Steve Beshear, Sens. Mitch McConnell, and Jim Bunning, Reps. Ed Whitfield, Brett Guthrie, John A. Yarmuth, Harold Rogers and Ben Chandler, this Web site offers complete information to Davis’ constituents. Visitors to the Web site will find help in dealing with several government agencies including the Social Security Administration, Medicare, the Internal Revenue Service and the State Department under the section titled “Help with a Federal Agency.”

Kentucky’s veterans who may have questions with Military or Veteran’s Affairs will also find assistance in the “Help with a Federal Agency” section.

Other sections on the Web site include: “Geoff’s Legislative Initiatives,” “Help with Federal Grants” and “Student Corner.” Visitors to the Web site can also join Davis’ e-mail list and receive a weekly newsletter.

Davis currently serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, with assignments to the Select Revenue and Trade subcommittees. He also serves as a deputy whip within the Republican Conference.

Other Web sites for Kentucky leaders include: Gov. Steve Beshear, Sen. Mitch McConnell, Sen. Jim Bunning, Rep. Ed Whitfield, Rep. Brett Guthrie, Rep. John A. Yarmuth, Rep. Harold Rogers and Rep. Ben Chandler.
