Welcome to Kypost.com, your place for "News in the (859)," plus a whole lot more. Following in the proud tradition of The Kentucky Post newspaper, kypost.com is focused on and dedicated to Northern Kentucky.

We’ll keep you up to date on breaking news, informed on the issues of the day and aware of what’s going on in your hometown and around the Commonwealth. When a truck jackknives on Death Hill, you’ll know all about it here. Whether it’s Petersburg, California, Grant’s Lick, Covington or some place between, when news breaks in Northern Kentucky you find it here. When something is stirring in Frankfort, we’ll have it for you. Our focus is on what you care about – both the big stories and the small ones.

We’ll bring you stories of your neighbors and neighborhood, introduce you to important and interesting people and let you know about events you’ll want to take in and places you’ll want to visit. You’ll find all the scores of your favorite high school team, obituaries from the region and columns by some familiar names.

One familiar name, Shannon Kettler, will become even better known in Northern Kentucky as this WCPO-TV 9News reporter focuses exclusively on our region. Look for her Kypost.com report on Channel 9 and at this Web site. The rest of the news team at WCPO will keep you up to date on all the news, weather and sports from Cincinnati and southwest Ohio. Additionally, you’ll find a full complement of national, political and business news.

In "Living in the 859," you’ll find stories about your neighbors, stories about what’s going on in your community and how to get involved, advice for families, health and fitness reports, stories about faith and religion and news about people and entertainment. You’ll also find great recipes, tips on entertaining and decorating, advice on making smart purchases and how to do projects around the house from Scripps Networks, including the Food Network, HGTV, Fine Living and DIY.

Of course, we don’t plan to do all of the talking. We also want to hear from you. Let us know about your events, you celebrations and your concerns. Have you got something to say about an issue or civic affairs? Let us hear from you on that, too. It’s easy to send us your news and views. Just click here or wherever you find a "Let’s hear from you" link. We’ll get it out to the (859). If you just want to tell us about something or talk something over, call us at (513) 852-5012. Let’s stay connected. This is your news and information Web site.

All of us at Kypost.com are proud of our Kentucky Post heritage. It’s a rich and storied one we’ll always try to honor. We’re also excited about the future, about being part of your community, about hearing your stories and ideas and about bringing you all the "News from the (859)." Welcome to Kypost.com.
