STANFORD, Ky. (AP) - Voters in a central Kentucky town have voted to stay dry.
A measure that would have allowed alcohol sales in Stanford went down to defeat Tuesday, 499 votes against and 344 votes in favor.
The "No" votes carried every precinct, early voting and absentee ballots in the unofficial results.
The alcohol sales vote was the second in Kentucky in as many weeks.
Voters in Trigg County in western Kentucky voted to allow alcohol sales on Sept. 29. That proposition passed by a 36-vote margin.
