LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington plans to dedicate a statue to honor veterans.
A statement from the hospital says Major General Edward W. Tonini, adjutant general of the Kentucky National Guard, will be among the speakers at the public ceremony on Nov. 8.
The statement says the life-size bronze sculpture was created by W. Stanley Proctor. It is a tribute to the men and women who have served the United States in the military.
