Safety Training For Emergency Responders Held

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will provide traffic control equipment and training for first responders on Tuesday, as part of a pilot project to improve highway safety.

Members of the media are invited to view the activities at Bluegrass Community and Technical College Lawrenceburg Campus, Tuesday, June 30, at 1:30 p.m. EDT. There will be visual opportunities for photos and video.

The pilot project, aimed at reducing secondary crashes, will provide standard traffic control equipment to emergency responders in the Frankfort area and to those along the Interstate 65 corridor between Franklin and Elizabethtown.
