LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A Kentucky school system says it will release its long-awaited report on the August death of a high school football player.

Jefferson County Public School's spokeswoman Lauren Roberts says the report's findings into the death of Pleasure Ridge Park sophomore offensive lineman Max Gilpin will be made public Wednesday morning in a press conference with school superintendent Sheldon Berman.

Gilpin, 15, died three days after collapsing at the end of a preseason practice. His former coach, David Jason Stinson, has pleaded not guilty to reckless homicide in an unusual case of a coach being charged criminally with the death of an athlete. His case is set for trial in August.

Gilpin's parents have also sued Stinson, five assistant coaches and several school administrators.
