Andrew J. "Andy" Updike
Andrew J. "Andy" Updike, 69, of Dry Ridge died Sunday at his home.

He worked as a laborer for Kenton County Road Department, a truck driver with Conrail and was a veteran of the Air Force and Army.

Survivors include his wife, Marty L. Webster Updike; sons, Michael J. Updike of Spokane, Wash. and Rodney Updike of Crittenden; mother, Leah Ryan of California; sisters, Debbie Stone, Cheryl Clark, Betty Wall and Rosie Thraser, all of California, Anita Slaughter of Jonesville, Judy Behan of Peoria, Ill., Gloria Chandler of Owenton; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown.
