Donald A. Ware, 83, of Fort Thomas died Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Brownsburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Brownsburg, Ind.

He was an assistant to the president at Interlake Steel's corporate office in Newport, organist, pianist, singer and musical liturgist for more than 60 years at Divine Mercy Parish in Bellevue and longtime organist at St. Louis Church in Cincinnati, an Army veteran who served in Germany during the Korean War and a current member of St. Malachy Church in Brownsburg, Ind. and former member of Divine Mercy Parish in Bellevue.

Survivors include his brothers, Leroy Ware of Brownsburg, Ind., and William Ware of Sharonville, Ohio; niece and caregiver for many years, Mary Ann Plaster of Brownsburg, Ind.; and caregiver and devoted friend, Sandra Keen-Williams of Brownsburg, Ind.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at Divine Mercy Parish in Bellevue. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.

Dobbling, Muehlenkamp & Erschell Funeral Home in Bellevue is handling arrangements.
