Betty Saner Armstrong

Betty Saner Armstrong, 89, of Fort Thomas died Sunday at Highlandsprings Care Center in Fort Thomas.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Fort Thomas Seniors, Club 55, Southgate Seniors and Bellevue Vets Seniors.

Her first husband, Adam Saner, and three sons, Robert, Thomas and Richard Saner, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Leslie Armstrong; a daughter, Mary Ann Reinersman of Taylor Mill; sons, Rev. Daniel J. Saner of Augusta, James Saner of Batesville Ind., William Armstrong of Alexandria and Robert Armstrong of Portland, Ore; a sister, Edna Knapp of Highland Heights; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Church in Fort Thomas. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp Erschell Funeral Home in Fort Thomas. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.
