Charles J. King, Retired Dock Worker For Roadway Express

Charles J. King, 92, of Dry Ridge died Friday, Nov. 6 at Grant Manor Nursing Home in Williamstown.

He was a retired dock worker for Roadway Express, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and Teamsters Local 100.

His wife, Mary Frost King, died in 1974 and son, Charles Henry King, died in 1958.

Survivors include his son, Darrell King of Dry Ridge; daughters, Ella Zaritzky of Lancaster, Pa., Diana Epperson of Fort Wright and Amy Jacobs of Dry Ridge; sister, Jane Sandlin of Bethel, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9 at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Dry Ridge.

Memorials are suggested to Pleasant View Cemetery, 2320 Verona-Mt. Zion Road, Dry Ridge, KY 41035.
