Charles R. Thomas, 79, of Wilmore and formerly of Williamstown died Thursday, Oct. 29 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore.

He was an assembler for Litning Products in Florence, an eight-year Navy veteran of the Korean War, a 12-year Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in Dry Ridge.

Survivors include his brother, Albert Thomas of Williamstown, and sister, Katherine Harris of Jonesville.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Visitation will begin there at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
