Col. A.E. "Bob" Von Holle
Col. A.E. "Bob" Von Holle, 91, of Fort Wright died Monday, Nov. 2, at St. Charles Care Center, Fort Wright.

A retired Army colonel, he was the owner of Zimmer Hardware in Covington and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Ann Zimmer; daughters, Christina Young of Fort Wright, Mari Grace Torgerson of Fairbanks, Alaska; sons, James Von Holle of Palmer, Alaska, Joseph Von Holle of Beavercreek, Ohio; sister, Ruth Kohmescher of Kenwood, Ohio; and 13 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at St. Agnes Church in Fort Wright. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 at Middendorf Funeral Home in Fort Wright. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.
