Daniel Lane Westfall

Daniel Lane Westfall, 24, of Cynthiana died Sunday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Cynthiana.

He was a United States Iraqi Freedom Army veteran stationed in Afghanistan and a member of the National Guard. He graduated from Harrison County High School and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, David Lane Westfall of Harrison County and Lorna Edwards Westfall of Clay County, W. Va.; sisters, Lori Ritchie, Christina Westfall and April Holbert, all of Cynthiana; a grandfather, Carl Edwards of Clay County, W. Va.; and a grandmother, Lucille Osborne Westfall of Clendenin, W. Va.

Services will at 1 p.m. Thursday at Matics Funeral Home in Clendenin, W. Va. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ware Funeral Home in Cynthiana. Burial will be in Westfall Cemetery in Clay County, W. Va.
