David Wayne Moore, 53, of Bellevue died Monday at St. Elizabeth Edgewood.

He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish in Bellevue and a 25-year volunteer firefighter for Bellevue serving as captain and past-president.

His son, Matthew Moore, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Cathy Wildeboer Moore; daughters, Amber and Tori Moore, both of Bellevue; sons, David and Anthony Moore, both of Bellevue; sisters, Donna Hoffmeister of Fort Thomas, Debbie Bonar of Newport and Patty Hibbard of Taylor Mill; brothers, Gary Moore of West Harrison, Ind., Danny Moore of Woodlawn, Rob Moore of Freeland, Mich., and Darren Moore of Shanghai, China; his father, Donald Moore of Cold Spring and step-mother, Elizabeth Moore of Cold Spring.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Divine Mercy Parish in Bellevue. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Bellevue with a special Bellevue-Dayton Fire Department service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.
