Donald R. King, 76, of Cynthiana died Monday, Nov. 2 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

He retired from Ladish and was a member of the Oddville Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Sumpter King; sons, Terry King of Smyrna, Tenn., James King of Corbin and Jack King of Cynthiana; a daughter, Sherie Juett of Cynthiana; brothers, George Washington King Jr. of Lexington and Joe King of Georgetown; a sister, Janet King Wagoner; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 at Ware Funeral Home in Cynthiana. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Raven Creek Cemetery.
