Elsie Reusch Nienaber, 100, of Covington died Tuesday at Madonna Manor in Villa Hills.

She was a retired nurse for St. Elizabeth Hospital and Comprehensive Care, worked in the classified department at The Cincinnati Enquirer and helped her husband run Was Riverview Cafe in Covington.

Her husband, Clem Nienaber, and daughter, Margie Brungs, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Ann Sund of Altadena, Calif. and Barbara Hauser of Shaker Heights, Ohio; sons, Clem Nienaber of Erlanger and Joe Nienaber of Costa Rica; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. at Madonna Manor. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Friday at Madonna Manor. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright.

Allison & Rose Funeral Home in Taylor Mill is handling arrangements.
