Gladys E. Florence, 84, of Elsmere died Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood.

She was a member of Barnes Temple AME Church where she sang in a four-part harmony group and in the senior choir and worked with the Junior Usher Board and Young Peoples Department.

Survivors include her daughters, Alberta Baker of Erlanger and Alene Louis of Elsmere; sister, Earlene Reels of Rhode Island; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Barnes Temple AME Church in Elsmere.

Middendorf Funeral Home in Fort Wright is handling arrangements.
