Howard Charles Hils, 86, of Fort Thomas died Saturday, Oct. 31 at his home.

He was a supervisor with the U.S. Postal Service, a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of St. Thomas Church in Fort Thomas and former president of the St. Thomas Boosters.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Riegler Hils; daughters, Laura Brennenstuhl and Lyn Jaspers, both of Fort Thomas; son, Leslie Hils of Anderson Township, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 at St. Thomas Church in Fort Thomas. Visitation will begin there at noon Wednesday, Nov. 4. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.

Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Fort Thomas is handling arrangements.
