James Bittner, 75, of Union died Sunday, Nov. 1 at his home.
He was a builder, a member of Ohio Home Builders Association, the Northern Kentucky Realtors Association and the Knights of Columbus and an Army veteran.
His son, John Paul Bittner, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Bittner; son, Mark Bittner of Milford, Ohio; daughters, Mary Almgren of Topsham, Maine, Patricia Bilokur of Seattle, Wash., Barbara Schroeder of Jacksonville, Fla., Kimberly Hager of Port Orchard, Wash. and Carrie Putrello of Utica, N.Y.; stepdaughters, Brynda Carroll and Lynda Smith, both of Edgewood; brothers, Leo Bittner of Alexandria, Howard Bittner of Southgate and Thomas Bittner of Delhi Township, Ohio; and 17 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 at St. Therese Church in Southgate. Visitation will be from 8:45 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home in Newport. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.
