Jerry Allen Shields, 63, of Alexandria died Wednesday, Oct. 28 at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Campbell County VFW Post No. 3205.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Shields; daughter, Ashley Shields of Portsmouth, Ohio; sons, Joey Shields of Jamestown and Jeff Shields and Jerry Shields, both of Madison, Ind.; brother, David Shields of Hebron; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial service with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Alexandria Funeral Home in Alexandria.
