Jim Gibson, 63, of Corinth died Saturday at his residence.

He was a retired brick mason and a member of New Columbus Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He also was the owner of D-J Amusements.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Hall Gibson; daughters, Kelley Perry and Angel Young, both of Corinth, and Lisa Newman of Williamstown; a sister, Priscilla Marshall of Frankfort; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at New Columbus Baptist Church in Owen County. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth and beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of choice.
