John J. Ryan Jr.

John J. Ryan Jr., 81, of Covington died Friday, Nov. 13 at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas.

He was a systems analyst for the U.S. government.

His sons, John J. Ryan III and James Ryan, preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, William Ryan; daughters, Ann Pond, Darnell Ryan, Tami Bullock and Mary McKinley; brother, William Ryan; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 18 at Veterans Hospital Chapel, 3200 Vine St., Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Ryan donated his body to the University of Cincinnati Medical School.

Dobbling, Muehlenkamp and Erschell Funeral Home in Newport is handling arrangements.
