Ken Downard, 73, of Southgate died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas.

He was a retired book binder for Johnson & Hardin Book Bindery and a Mason with the Robert Burns Masonic Lodge in Newport.

Survivors include daughters, Connie Turner and Kim Smith, both of Newport; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Newport. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate.
