Leonard Phillips, 86, of Florence died Wednesday, Nov. 4, at his home.

He was a master plumber for Dahlenburg in Elsmere, an Army veteran of World War II, member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Elsmere Post 423 and American Legion Post 4 and a Purple Heart recipient.

His wife, Dolly Phillips and daughter, Mary Edmonds, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sons, George Phillips of Crittenden, Charlie Phillips, Mike Phillips and Bob Phillips, all of Florence; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 at Stith Funeral Home in Florence. Visitation will begin there at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass-Northern Kentucky, 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, KY 41042.
