Mary "Mickey" Padgett
Mary "Mickey" Padgett, 92, of Fort Thomas and formerly of Newport died Saturday at her home.

She was a homemaker and a founding charter member for 82 years at St. Therese Church in Southgate, a member of the Alter Society, Drama Club and choir that traveled to Rome, Italy and sang for Pope John Paul II.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Robert E. Padgett; a daughter, Jeanie Smiley of Cold Spring; sons, Robert Padgett of Austin, Texas and Thomas Padgett of Independence; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Therese Church in Southgate. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.
