Nola Mae DeWald, 74, of Cold Spring, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood.

She was a retired server for the former Empress Chili in Highland Heights. She was preceded in death by her husband John K. Dewald in 2007.

Survivors include daughters, Holly Vasquez of Alexandria, Shirley Earley of Loveland, Ohio, Bonnie Gavin of Crescent Springs, Angie Ice of Alexandria; sons Ruben Turner of Paris, Homer DeWald of Cincinnati, John Nicholas DeWald of Florence; sisters Betty Stamper of Southgate, Liz Wilson of Newport; brothers Sam Jackson of Jackson, Wallace Jackson of Newport; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Alexandria Funeral Home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.

Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop, Edgewood, KY 41017.
