Philip Joseph Kathman, 88, of Edgewood died Friday at Villa Springs Care Center in Erlanger.

He was a sales representative with Cincinnati Paper and Wooden Ware, a member of Covington Lions, St. Pius X Men's Club and St. Pius X Church in Edgewood.

His daughter, Judith Anne Kathman, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Kathman; daughters, Conni Epstein of Chicago, Ill., Susanne Anderson of Lexington; sisters, Elaine Manilla of Huntington, W.Va., Blanche Huber of Cincinnati; brothers, John Kathman of Edgewood and Don Kathman of Erlanger; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood.
Visitation will begin there at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.
