Ralph W. Bohmer Jr.

Ralph W. Bohmer Jr., 79, of Florence died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Edgewood.

He retired from the former Rieger Produce Co. where he worked as a truck driver and later worked in maintenance at J.C. Penney in Florence Mall. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Augustine Church in Covington and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, LaVerne Geyer Bohmer; a daughter, Joan L. Fischer of Taylor Mill; a son, Matthew R. Bohmer of Florence; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Church in Covington. Visitation will begin there at 9:15 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia is handling arrangements.
