Robert C. Shaefer

Robert C. Shaefer, 73, of Fort Thomas died Saturday, Nov. 14 at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas.

He was a retired lineman for Cincinnati Gas & Electric Co. and Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Gunning Shaefer; sons, Mike Shaefer of Fort Thomas and Mark Shaefer of Butler; sister, Mary Piccola of Florence; and four grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Wednesday, Nov. 18 at St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Fort Thomas. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Dobbling Funeral Home in Fort Thomas.

Memorials are suggested to St. Bernard Food Pantry, Fifth and Berry Ave., Dayton, KY 41074.
