Virgia L. Griffith

Virgia L. Griffith, 89, of Newport died Sunday, Nov. 1 at her home.

She was a homemaker and member of the Highland Avenue Baptist Tabernacle Church in Fort Thomas.

Her husband, Claude Griffith; son, Gary Griffith, Sr. and grandson, Gary Griffith, Jr. preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Audrey Riffe of Fort Thomas and Glenna Mullen of Newport; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 at Highland Avenue Baptist Tabernacle Church in Fort Thomas. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.
