Butler Co. Emergency Management Chief Offers To Resign

Last Update: 12/24/2008 12:29 am

A Butler County official has offered to resign in response to questions on how he handled the September windstorm.

Some have criticized Butler County Emergency Management Agency Director William Turner for how the county responded after the disaster.

Others, however, continue to support him and the agency's board did not ask him to step down.

There is no decision yet on whether his resignation will be accepted.
