When I think back to August when we first started school I thought graduation would never come. But now, with only three weeks until that momentous day, I don't know where the time has gone.
At the beginning of the year, people always told me that time would fly by but I never took them seriously. Looking back, there was not enough time to do everything that could have been done in my last year of high school. These things could have included doing more service or truly being active in L.I.F.E club.
My senior year for soccer couldn't have been better, though. Actually, winning state would have made it better but the people were great and I couldn't of had more fun. I am glad I played my last year and would have regretted it if I didn't.
I am definitely struggling with senioritis but the possibility of exemption keeps me going.
I am going to miss the people and teachers that I have met here when I go to college. I will also miss the atmosphere of Notre Dame and the concept of uniforms. I mean, what could be easier than knowing what you are going to wear every single day?
As a senior, I feel as though the teachers have prepared us for college by giving us more freedom and trusting us to get our work done.
Senior year has had its ups and downs but it is a year I will never forget.
