CINCINNATI, Ohio - Cases of the H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu, are lessening and Catholic Churches are breathing a sigh of relief.

Churches across the Tri-State are looking to reinstate handshakes during the sign of peace and giving wine during communion.

Immaculate Heart of Mary in Anderson Township will resume full services on December 13.  St. Ann in Groesbeck is aiming for Christmas. St. Thomas More in Withamsville is waiting for the school children to receive the vaccine, and they say once the children are safe, they plan to resume the traditions.  However, they don't believe that will happen until after the first of the year.

Both traditions were stopped late this summer in fear that the contact would transmit the virus very quickly.
