BATAVIA, Ohio -- The Clermont County General Health District will being taking appointments on Monday, Nov. 9 for two clinics for the H1N1 vaccine.
The appointments are availabel for pregnant women, healthcare workers, adults between the ages of 18 and 64 with chronic medical conditions, and caregivers of children under six months of age.
Clinic details are as follows:
Appointments are being accepted for a flu mist clinic on Saturday, Nov. 14. between 9 a.m. and noon at the General Health District Nursing Division at 2499 Clermont Center Drive, Suite 200, in Batavia.
These appointments are for caregivers of children under the age of six months. Caregivers must be under the age of 50 without chronic health conditions. The clinic is also for those between the ages of two and 24 without chronic health conditions, as well as healthcare workers without chronic health conditions.
There are also appointments available for a Saturday, Nov. 21 vaccination clinic scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon at the General Health District Nursing Division at 2499 Clermont Center Drive, Suite 200, in Batavia.
This clinic is for children ages five and younger. Due to the limited supply of the injectable vaccine, if there is not a prohibiting health condition, children aged two to five years are encouraged to take the flu mist instead.
