8/29 Volleyball: Brossart Wins 10th Region All Tournament

Brossart advanced to the All ‘A’ state tournament with a win over Calvary Christian in the 10th Region finals, 25-18, 25-21 on Saturday.

Junior outside hitter Felicity Britt rolled up 20 digs and eight kills, and sophomore setter Molly Williams dished for 17 assists to lead the Mustangs.
Cougars senior outside hitter Kenda Anderson finished with 13 kills and three aces in the losing effort.

Named to the all tournament team were Brooke Mosher (St. Patrick), Kaylee Griffin (St. Patrick), Rebecca Stith (Deming), Eli McLain (Deming), Payton Govan (Silver Grove), Ashton Williams (Nicholas County), Karlie Smith (Bracken County), Samantha Victor (Calvary Christian), Sara Boon (Calvary Christian), Anna Dykes (Brossart), Chelsea Verst (Brossart), Anderson and Williams.

Britt was named most valuable player.
