Buckler Sets More Records As Bellevue Upsets Frankfort

 Senior Ricky Buckler ran 50 times for 221 yards and four touchdowns, scoring all but one of Bellevue’s points and breaking school records while leading the Tigers to a 29-26 upset at Frankfort in the Class A playoffs.

 Buckler surpassed Mike Sutkamp’s career and single-season marks for rushing yards in the game and came within two carries of matching the school record in that category.

 Buckler now has 2,689 rushing yards this season and more than 5,000 for his career.
Bellevue will play at Beechwood next week.
